About the Author …

Zenobia Bailey is an assistant adjunct professor with the University of Maryland University College and volunteers as a communications consultant for The One World Center for Autism.  She is also a life and wellness coach with a special affinity for coaching Moms.  Past adjunct appointments included public relations and communications at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.  Colleges in Indiana include Franklin College and Crossroads Bible College where she taught mass media, business communication, leadership, english, and  literature.

Aside from her academic positions, Ms. Bailey has been employed as a public relations consultant to a mid-size Chamber of Commerce and The Minority Enterprise Small Business Investment Companies.  Other positions include Director of External Affairs and Public Information for The Cooperative Extension Service of The University of the District of Columbia, Writer for The Washington Informer, and Public Relations Assistant at The Washington Hospital Center.  Many opportunities for advocacy have presented themselves to Bailey.  She has assumed more than a few, including children and families, clean water campaigns, sponsoring children in other nations as well as here in the US, reducing and eliminating toxins from our food and personal care products.

A member of the International Christian Coaching Association, Ms. Bailey’s educational background includes an english and journalism BA from Howard University and a journalism and mass communications MA from The University of Iowa.

Bailey states, ” Every day the news confronts us with more and more debris that is too often misinformation and even disinformation.  I’ve started this blog as a way to help stabilize the effects of some of the assailing torrents that affect us all.”
